Let's Start the Conversation

Let's Talk About Starting a Chapter

Two smiling men in conversation at a professional gathering, representing the welcoming and collaborative spirit of MEF Chapter support.

It all starts with a conversation. Whether you're part of a PTO, a booster club, or just a group of passionate parents and staff, we're here to help you bring your vision to life. Starting a Chapter is easier than you think—and we’ll be with you every step of the way.

Ready to Start a Chapter? We’d Love to Connect!

MEF Chapters bring families, schools, and communities together around a shared goal: creating meaningful opportunities for students.

If your school has a parent-led group that is interested in becoming an official Mapleton Education Foundation Chapter, we would be happy to help you explore what that could look like.

Before getting started, please review the Chapter materials to learn more about how MEF Chapters operate, what support is available, and the responsibilities that come with becoming an official Chapter.

When you are ready, simply complete the Chapter Application, have it signed by your school director, and return it to the Foundation for review. Once approved, we will help guide your group through the next steps.

If you have questions or would like to talk through the process, please contact:

  • Looking for a Simple Starting Point?

Our Sample Chapter Bylaws provide a clear, customizable framework for school-based MEF Chapters. The template outlines your Chapter’s purpose, membership, leadership roles, meetings, finances, and responsibilities as part of the Mapleton Education Foundation.

Simply download the editable template and personalize the identified sections for your school community. If your Chapter would like to make other changes, MEF will work with you to review them before the bylaws are adopted.

A strong Chapter starts with a clear foundation.

  • Ready to Bring New Opportunities to Your School?

The MEF Chapter Application is the first step in becoming an official Mapleton Education Foundation Chapter.

Complete the application, identify your proposed Chapter leadership, and obtain your school director’s signature. Once your application is submitted, the Foundation will follow up to guide you through the next steps and help your Chapter get started.

You do not have to figure it all out on your own. MEF is here to provide guidance, resources, and support along the way.

Because when families and schools work together, more opportunities become possible for students.
