Making Sure Every Child is Zipped Up & Ready for School

The Mapleton Education Foundation is teaming up with community partners to help students start the school year strong—with backpacks and school supplies packed and ready to go.

This year, we’re making it easier than ever. Students will receive their backpacks and supplies at school, helping families feel connected and supported from day one.

If your family would benefit from a backpack, school supplies, or other back-to-school resources, just fill out the short form below. We’ll take care of the rest.

Packed Up & Ready to Learn

Each year, community partners help us make sure Mapleton students start the school year feeling confident and prepared—with backpacks full of essential supplies and a sense of belonging.

This effort isn’t targeted to any one group—it’s open-hearted and community-wide. And thanks to your generosity, the supplies reach the students who need them most.

Below is this year’s list of most-requested school supplies:

Items Needed:

• Backpacks
• Crayons (24-count)
• Glue sticks
• Erasers
• Colored pencils (8-count or larger)
• Scissors (pointed)
• Broad washable markers (8 basic colors)
• Dry erase markers (basic colors)
• Rulers
• Pocket folders
• Composition notebooks
• Spiral notebooks
• Pencil bags with zippers
• Boxes of tissues (Kleenex)

Items marked with an asterisk are not essential, but always appreciated—especially for helping students feel proud to contribute to their classrooms.
