Description:
The “Building America’s Future” Scholarship is supported by the VonderHofen family to encourage graduating Mapleton students who are planning to attend an accredited two-year college, technical school, apprenticeship program, or certification program after graduation. This scholarship was created to encourage students to explore other avenues beyond a traditional four year college/university to creating a fulfilling career.
Eligibility:
- Applicant must be a resident of Colorado and attend Mapleton Public Schools.
- Applicant must be planning to attend an accredited two-year college, technical school, apprenticeship program or certification program in the next academic year AND interested in pursuing a degree in engineering, business management or some aspect of construction.
Requirements:
- Submit application form and all common application requirements electronically (see application checklist).
- Finalists for this scholarship will be required to participate in an interview process.

- What inspires you to pursue a career in engineering, business management, a construction trade, or similar field and what are your goals once you obtain a related degree?
