Colorado School of Mines Matching Scholarship
Criteria and information for matching scholarship award:
- Colorado School of Mines will provide up to $5,000 per student per year in matching gift aid to eligible MEF scholarship recipients at Colorado School of Mines
- Students must demonstrate financial need each year as determined by results of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the Colorado Application for State Financial Aid (CASFA) and must comply with all verification requirements of the institution no later than July 1
- Recipients must be undergraduate students seeking their first degree. Graduate students and second bachelor’s degree students are not eligible
- Students must be enrolled full-time if receiving an Adam's County Scholarship. For other MEF scholarships full-time is encouraged, but less than full-time will be considered eligible.
- Students must be meeting the federal Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements and maintain at least a 2.0 cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) to receive matching funds
- MEF will make its scholarship payment after receiving a scholarship activation form submitted by the student. Colorado School of Mines will make payment after verifying the list of eligible scholarship recipients, which shall be sent to Colorado School of Mines by MEF no later than August of each academic year
Metropolitan State University of Denver Matching Scholarship
Criteria and information for matching scholarship award:
- Metropolitan State University of Denver will provide up to $2,000 per student per year in matching gift aid to eligible MEF scholarship recipients at Metropolitan State University of Denver.
- Students must demonstrate financial need each year as determined by results of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the Colorado Application for State Financial Aid (CASFA) and must comply with all verification requirements of the institution no later than July 1
- Recipients must be undergraduate students seeking their first degree. Graduate students and second bachelor’s degree students are not eligible
- Students must be enrolled full-time if receiving an Adam's County Scholarship. For other MEF scholarships full-time is encouraged, but less than full-time will be considered eligible.

- Front Range Community College will provide up to $1,000 per student per year in matching gift aid to eligible MEF scholarship recipients at Front Range Community College.
- Students must demonstrate financial need each year as determined by results of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the Colorado Application for State Financial Aid (CASFA) and must comply with all verification requirements of the institution no later than July 1
- Recipients must be undergraduate students seeking their first degree. Graduate students and second bachelor’s degree students are not eligible
