MEF School Chapters

The Mapleton Education Foundation (MEF) supports up to 20 school-based “Chapters” across Mapleton Public Schools. These Chapters, typically formed by PTOs or school booster clubs, play a crucial role in enriching the educational experiences of students in their respective schools. Each Chapter is managed by a dedicated site-based volunteer committee that includes parents, staff, school administration, and community members. 

MEF provides a robust framework for these Chapters, including financial infrastructure, comprehensive insurance coverage, meticulous bookkeeping services, and oversight as a 501(c)(3) organization. Collectively, MEF manages and facilitates funds raised by the Chapters, ensuring that resources are effectively utilized to maximize the impact on student learning and school enrichment.
